  • Too Many Unexcused Absences Could Mean Suspension of Student’s Driver’s License...
    According to the Teenage and Adult Driver Responsibility Act (TAADRA), the Department of Driver Services could suspend a student’s driver’s license for up to one year if they are considered non-compliant. This includes 10 or more unexcused absences or certain discipline violations! For more information, please see page 34 of the 2014 Drivers Manual.

    Any individual, organization, or agency (“complainant”) may file a complaint with Bibb County School District (BCSD) if that individual, organization, or agency believes and alleges that BCSD is violating a Federal statute or regulation that applies to a program under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).

    Double barreled fun @ Westside! Seniors and parents check current grades, clear up their debt list, verify graduation credits, and pick up cap'n'gown packages to prepare for graduation... while underclassmen and parents meet with counselors and sign up for the Summer Opportunity Program. Busy evening but no problem as Westside Staff stays late to be sure our students are SUCCESSFUL!

    NEWS FLASH! Our SUPERSTAR Girls Track & Field Team has made it to the Finals in the following events: 4 x 100M, 4x400M, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 300M hurdles. The Show Down is Saturday, May 9th in Albany at 3:00 pm! Light those ROCKETS Ladies!!!!!
