  • Community Invited to Forums to Learn More About District's Future

Posted by Mark Paschal at 1/15/2015
BOE LOGO Interim Superintendent Dr. Kelley Castlin-Gacutan will host community information sessions in January and February to make stakeholders aware of an important decision that will impact the District’s future. Local school districts in Georgia have a deadline of June 30, 2015, to determine whether they will operate as an Investing in Educational Excellence (IE²) School System, a Charter System, or Status Quo School System.
During the community information sessions, District administrators will provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of the three choices and solicit community input. Westside will host one of the community forums on Tuesday, January 20 @ 5:30 PM. Community members are invited to attend and will be asked to participate in a survey regarding the three options. To participate in the survey, click here.
