Math is not just something that happens inside the classroom walls! Students enjoy some fresh air as they use string to measure circumference of trees and then calculate to solve for the diameter.
Seniors wrap up the year with their Portfolio Presentations to peers and a panel of judges. Working for a successful conclusion to their high school experience!

The Bibb County School District is partnering with the Middle Georgia Regional Library for the 2016 Summer Reading Program. When students don’t read during the summer months, research shows they can lose up to three months of reading ability over the summer. We are challenging all students to read every day during the summer for a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes, and the Georgia Department of Education and partners are offering a variety of free resources to make it easier for all. CLICK HERE or on the graphic below for more information, resources, and Summer Reading Lists for each high school grade level.
Through their hard work and focus on success during the 2015-2016 school year, the Westside High School Beta Club has been named a National Beta School of Merit!
