As Parent Involvement Coordinator, Mrs. Hatcher coordinates school-based parent involvement programs for Rutland High School. She conducts parent workshops and activities at the school, and assists in coordinating special parent workshops specifically related to student academics. She assists with the school-level PTSA and helps in establishing and maintaining positive school community relationships while fostering collaboration among school and community members. Mrs. Hatcher works with parents, teachers, graduation coach, and the school counselors to stengthen the connection between school and home. She is a liasion between school and parents, striving diligently to help parents become more involved in their child's education through RHS StormWatch Newsletter, Web Page, and by making routine contact with parents about school related activities or needs and encouraging participation in the parent volunteer program.
