It is with pleasure that I welcome you to I have over 18 years of experience as an educator – all in One of my most distinguished honors was receiving National Board Certification in Early Adolescence English Language Arts in 2002. I am a proud graduate of The Administrators’ Institute Leaders’ Academy of the Bibb County Public Schools, a graduate of the GLISI Rising Star Leadership Institute for Aspiring Leaders, and a member of GLISI and The Power of 100. One of my future goals is to write children’s books. Within the community, I am committed to working in the area of children literacy. Additionally, I enjoy the performing arts. My religious, community and civic affiliations include Swift Creek Baptist Church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and The Junior League of Macon. I am married to Trent Allen who is also an educator and coach. As an educator I strive for success and achievement. As the principal, I believe in making achievement the top priority by strengthening the bonds of respect, responsibility, and relationships with those around me – students, parents, teachers and community members. The staff is in a mode of study, sharing, and flexibility to learn new things, try various approaches while continually adjusting and monitoring data.
