We are Future Focused! Great Careers Start Here!
Imagine a high school that focuses daily on your future success. Whether it be college, technical school, a great career or service to our nation, Hutchings can help make your future happen. As Bibb County's only full magnet school we offer several exciting career paths open to students county wide.
  • Since opening in 2002, the Hutchings Career Center has partnered with local business and industry to offer exciting workplace experiences for students. Local employers tell us that Hutching's students make great employees. Planning for the future is important and Hutchings features both a Work-based Learning Coordinator and a Corporate Employment Liason. Career Center programs help students gain valuable workplace skills with participation in Youth Apprenticeship, Career Co-Op and Job Internships. Hutchings also follows the progress of our graduates, offering guidance as students begin their post-secondary careers.

Admission to Hutchings is open to any Bibb County student. Students must have a good record of attendance, discipline and a desire to succeed in the classroom. Click on the link below or the School Info link on the menu bar or the shortcut box on the bottom left corner of the home page for Admission Criteria information and to download an application.
Click below to download a copy of the application. Please note it must be delivered to the school.
