Department of Assessment and Accountability

Welcome to the Department of Assessment and Accountability for the Bibb County School District. The department provides for the administration and analysis of all standardized tests required by federal and state law with any others determined by the school system. We provide mandatory training to all school test coordinators on the testing program and protocols. The Department of Assessment and Accountability monitors system progress toward academic goals and assists all departments and schools, through the utilization of data, in continuously improving our program of instruction. In conjunction with Teaching and Learning, we help assess each schoolï¿½s progress towards AYP compliance with the NO Child Left Behind Act, GA House Bill 1187 and GA House Bill 656. The department is also responsible for the accurate reporting of all student data to the Georgia Department of Education.

Records Management is a division of our department which maintains records of the school system including transcripts of former students. As of July 1, 2010 a fee of 3 dollars will be charged for each transcript. We accept cash or cashiers checks.
