Mr. Kevin Adams, Ed. S.
Bibb County School District has been a big part of my life since I began first grade as a student at Rosa Taylor Elementary. I continued my education at Miller Middle School and Central High School. After graduating from Bibb County schools, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University in Mathematics & Computer Science. In order to pursue a career in education, I immediately went to work on a Master of Education degree from the University of Georgia in Mathematics Education. I spent one year at Clarke Central High School in Athens, GA before getting married and moving to the Atlanta area where I taught at Walton High School in Marietta, GA for eight years. While at Walton, I also completed my Educational Specialist degree at Lincoln Memorial University in Educational Administration and Supervision. The desire to come home and serve in the county that provided me with my own education ultimately led to my return to Bibb County. I spent four years at Howard High School serving as the mathematics department chair and now I am privileged to continue at Howard Middle School as an Assistant Principal.
While I thoroughly enjoy my job as an educator, my family is extremely important to me. I am blessed to be happily married to my beautiful wife, Katie. We are the proud parents of two amazing children, Ellie and Griffin. As a family, we are very involved at Martha Bowman United Methodist Church. Additionally, I am fortunate to have my parents, brothers (and their families), and grandmother all in Macon.
I am extremely excited about another year of being a part of a strong team at Howard Middle School where EVERY DAY & EVERY STUDENT MATTERS!
