The Georgia Network for
Educational and Therapeutic Support
The Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support supports local school systems by providing comprehensive special education and therapeutic support for students whose behaviour severely impedes their learning. GNETS serves children ages three through 21 through one of 24 programs serving every school system in the state.
Bibb County School District houses one such program at:
Elam Alexander Academy
2051 Second Street

This program serves seven surrounding counties--Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, and Twiggs counties (GNETS). The middle and high school staff/students are located on the campus of Northeast High School.
