Dr Green

Dr. Quintin Green is in his third year as Principal at Northeast High School. He taught middle school Language Arts, Science, and Georgia Studies.  He graduated from Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, Georgia.  Further educational training and preparation were completed at Georgia College and State University for administration certification before completing requirements for the doctor of philosophy degree (PhD) from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia in December 2000.
Dr. Green is a member of Saint Paul AME Church of Macon, Georgia where he serves as the church school superintendent.  He believes that committed people are expected to demonstrate their commitment through pervasive and consistent deliberation.  He believes that the community of Northeast High School is capable of making a differnece in the lives of the youth and adults that live in the northeast zone of Bibb County Schools.  Green hopes to foster an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect as Northeast High School commits to changing the culture, climate, and community.  Dr. Green believes that we should make a concerted effort to practice doing the things that we do best for it is in perfect practice that we become better at being our best.  Green says he adopted the motto "Excellence Without Excuses" years ago and has brought such a vision to Northeast High School.  In the words of Aristotle, "We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."
Dr. Quintin Green says, "We have a lot of work to do at Northeast High School; however, with God all things are possible.  The students, parents, and community deserve our best.  I assure you will never get less than my best service."
A cordial invitation is extended to the public to visit our site often and visit our physical location to ensure open communication and transparency.  All parents and supporters of Northeast are welcomed.  Stay informed and call us if you have any questions or concerns.
