Greetings King-Danforth Parents/Community Members,

Georgia Law mandates that all public schools have an operating School Council.  The purpose of the School Council is to bring communities and schools closer together in a spirit of cooperation, commitment, and dedication.  The purpose of the School Council also involves forming a coalition of concerned and involved parents and citizens who have a special interest in the effectiveness of the total school program.

Therefore, this is an open invitation for you as a parent or a community member to become a part of King-Danforth’s school council.  All members of the school council must be fingerprinted and trained so that the school council will be an effective part of the school program.

There will be a minimum of four meetings before the close of the school year. The meetings will be announced at least 1 week in advance, will have an agenda, and the minutes will be recorded.

If you are interested in participating on the School Council, please complete the form below and return it to Mrs. Skelton in the front office.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to serve the King-Danforth community.
