 THE COUNSELOR IS IN....
The Guidance and Counseling Department at King-Danforth Elementary School would like to welcome you and your child(ren) to another exciting and wonderful year of learning.  Our department is composed of a professional school counselor, Ms. Christina Sherard.  Ms. Sherard and the staff at King-Danforth work together to make sure that our students are attaining high levels of academic achievement.  She has devoted her life to ensuring that the personal, social and academic needs of all children are targeted.  Ms. Sherard aims to maintain a character education program that will infiltrate the school and community alike.  She will provide individual and small group counseling and classroom guidance for students at King-Danforth Elementary.  She will also be available for the support of the staff, parents and community.  At King-Danforth Elementary, students are never alone in the great endeavor of starting and/or completing elementary schoolbecause our knowledgeable teachers, efficient administrators, and our professional counselor are here to help.
