Individuals no longer enrolled in Bibb County schools and who previously failed to receive a high school diploma or were denied graduation solely for failing to achieve a passing score on one or more portions of a graduation test may submit a petition to determine the student’s eligibility to receive a high school diploma based on the graduation requirements in effect when the student first entered ninth grade. Petition forms will be available at each of the District’s high schools and the Central Office, which is located at 484 Mulberry Street in downtown Macon. For a direct link to the petition form, click here.
A copy of a photo ID must accompany all requests. Applicants should allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing. After a student’s transcript has been reviewed, a letter will be sent with notification of the applicant’s status. Diplomas will take an additional 4 to 6 weeks for processing. Names will appear on the diploma as they are in the student’s high school record.
