Math 24
Congratulations to the Springdale Math 24 team! The team did very well at the Bibb County 24 Team Tournament last Wedensday: Scott Campell, Devyn Mason, and Alyn Ovell will receive second place ribbons and Robbie Ceglie, Zachary Ferguson, Brett Galonczyk, Amitai Ilan, and Abby Dean will receive first place ribbons. We are proud of our team!

WINN'S WELL

Winn's Well has been assigned! The well made possible by the children at Springdale will be built at Toloso Primary-Secondary School in Kenya. It will be the first high-yield well to have a solar pump and tank instead of a manual hand-pump.The system can pump water all day and excess water is stored in an overhead tank. Solar pumps are low maintenance, require no manual operation, and use clean, renewable energy.The surveying and geological study is currently under way with plans for the drilling to begin early this summer. The well should be functional by the end of August. This will not only bring clean water to that community but will also facilitate other necessary sanitation such as restrooms and training that will improve hygiene at the school. That community will forever be changed because these children recognized a need and chose to do something about it.

About Our School

Springdale serves approximately 650 students in grades PreK through five. The campus is nestled in a woodsy, well-established, safe community in north Bibb County. Many realtors speak of Springdale as an asset when selling a home in the district. Recently, our school was completely renovated with the addition of eight new classrooms, a new roof, and 21st century technology in every classroom.

Our teaching staff is highly qualified with an average of 15 years of experience in the classroom. 62% of our faculty hold advanced graduate degrees. Cutting edge technology, highly-qualified teachers, and supportive parents all help prepare our students to be successful. Springdale won Georgia's Bronze Award twice in the past five years for the highest percentage of students meeting and exceeding standards on the CRCT state assessment.
