Teaching is my second career. I really tried to "do what you love" when I returned to the working world from raising my own two boys. I was able to attend Wesleyan to become certified to teach early childhood. This will be my third year at Heritage and my seventh year in Bibb County. I have always taught Kindergarten. Children learn so much during this year and I enjoy helping them and watching the growth during the year. I feel lucky to have such a rewarding career with the wonderful little learners at Heritage.
